Old York Veterinary Hospital is seeking a friendly and organized person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This individual must possess a genuine passion for helping both pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and pets upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar.
Assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Handle client inquiries and provide information about services.
Process payments and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff.
Qualifications:
Able to lift heavy objects weighing 30-40 lbs.
Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Veterinary Practice software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office preferred but not required.
Professional and compassionate attitude.
Must be able to work Saturdays as needed.
