Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Experience or eligibility to practice as a School-Based SLP
  • Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, educators, and parents
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment

Location: San Francisco, California - an urban area with vibrant communities and diverse student populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy sessions to elementary-age students
  • Monitor progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide necessary reports or recommendations
