Previous medical clerical experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge, e.g., Microsoft Office. Accuracy and detail orientation. Positive customer service skills. Well-groomed appearance. Clear and articulate phone mannerisms.
Skills
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
1-3 years of experience working in a professional office environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Superior attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good problem solving and decision-making skills
Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize work from multiple patients in a high-volume environment
Proficiency in MS Office applications including MS Excel
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
Receptionist Job responsibilities:
Answering incoming telephone calls, including screening and directing calls, taking and relaying messages, providing accurate information, and answering questions about the company.
Greet patients and visitors, providing a courteous experience. Informs the appropriate staff member of patient arrivals. If needed, provide patients with initial paperwork and obtain copies of insurance and identification cards.
Process patient payment for walk sales, with Square. Keep accurate documentation on cash sales and payments.
Process patient payments for Niko Health system.
Assists with data entry.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
