Apex Therapeutic Services is hiring Certified Occupational Therapists Assistants to work at a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Brooklyn.

This is a full time position

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy to adult and geriatric patients under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist.
• Develop and improve the skills needed for the daily functioning of your patients
• Prepare documentation, progress notes, and discharge summaries as required
• Implement and document patient status under the direction of OT and Rehab Director
• Monitor patient’s performance in therapy activities, providing encouragement
• Supervise patient’s activities to ensure they are done properly

Qualified applicants must:

• Be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
• Hold licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the State of New York

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

• COTA (Preferred)
