IPV Logistics Material Specialists I & II
Mission-Driven Logistics Support | DoD Environment | Bench Stock Operations
Are you a dependable logistics professional with strong customer service skills and hands-on inventory experience? We are seeking an IPV Logistics Material Specialist I & II to support bench stock and material operations in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
This role operates under the Projects ISO-certified processes with direct guidance from site management, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and operational excellence.
Position Overview
- Set up the bench stock locations in such a manner that they will be labeled with an ILT produced
- Perform Kind, Count and Condition (KCC) validation while processing receipts will, segregate and stage bench stock material to designated depot shop.
- Inspect all material for defects or errors.
- Process all receipt documents into IL T and put shipments away in an inventory location in the warehouse.
- Retain all documentation received from the vendor and give it to the Site Manager or the site manager's
- Place material into the bins or government representatives' specified location after the customer scheduled delivery audit has been performed and no issues identified.
- Perform visual checks of all assigned bin locations at least twice a week
with one of those days being the last day of the work week and scan bins at or below the reorder point
listed on the bin label.
- Apply bar code labels to bins as required by direction from the Site
- Make entries on the computer via keyboard or using handheld
- The Subcontractor will report all discrepancies of material and processes to the Site
- The subcontractor will report NSNs impacting customer support immediately to the Site
- The Subcontractor will be required to load and unload trucks/vans and transport parts to and from the Depot for packages approximately 40 pounds
LMS I
- High school education, or equivalent, and 2+ years of
- Previous experience in customer service, inventory, shipping or receiving
- Daily requirement to lift a minimum of 40
- Requires individuals to stand or walk for extended periods of
- Individuals must have a valid state driver's
- Required to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jack, delivery cart,
- Must understand and read basic
- Required to wear hearing protection, safety goggles, and OSHA approved safety
- Must be energetic and confident with sound practical judgment and good communications
- Prior warehouse experience is desirable.
LMS II
- High school education, or equivalent, and 5+ years of
- Previous experience in customer service, inventory, shipping or receiving
- Daily requirement to lift a minimum of 40
- Requires individuals to stand or walk for extended periods of
- Individuals must have a valid state driver's
- Required to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jack, delivery cart,
- Must understand and read basic
- Required to wear hearing protection, safety goggles, and OSHA approved safety
- Must be energetic and confident with sound practical judgment and good communications
- Prior inventory management, warehouse or stocking experience
