Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A well-established, family-owned retail pharmacy is seeking a dependable Pharmacy Manager for a 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity in North Salt Lake, Utah. This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership experience in a chain or high-volume retail environment who can confidently step in and support daily operations.
Assignment Details:

Start: ASAP (client prefers someone who can begin early December)

Term: 13 weeks temp-to-perm

Schedule: 3x12s (first shift; 9:00 AM 9:00 PM)

Software: McKesson
-
Volume: 200350 prescriptions per day
Key Responsibilities:
-
Lead, supervise, and support all pharmacy operations

Manage, coach, schedule, and oversee pharmacists, technicians, and interns

Ensure full pliance with state, federal, and pany regulations (DEA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)

Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and audit-ready records

Oversee inventory processes including ordering, rotation, returns, and controlled substances

Review, verify, and fill prescriptions accurately

Provide patient counseling on medications, interactions, and side effects
-
municate directly with prescribers to clarify or verify prescription details
-
Deliver excellent customer service and uphold a patient-focused environment
-
Participate in clinical services and munity wellness programs (immunizations, MTM, screenings, etc.)

Stay current on new drugs, guidelines, and best practices
Required Qualifications:

Active and clear Utah Pharmacist License

Minimum 2 years of recent pharmacy management experience (required)

Strong background in retail or chain pharmacy operations
