Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This direct hire opportunity is seeking skilled healthcare professionals with expertise as Pharmacy Technicians and Registered Nurses specializing in ICU, Medical-Surgical, and PICU settings. Located in Nashville, TN, this role involves contributing to exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient care needs within assigned units such as ICU, Medical-Surgical, or PICU.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as per established protocols.
- Delegate nursing tasks appropriately to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and facility policies.
- Support unit operations, including participating in clinical decision-making and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure and certification as a Pharmacy Technician or Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in ICU, Med-Surg, or PICU.
- Current and active nursing license appropriate for the role.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification required for ICU, Telemetry, and PCU roles.
- Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is beneficial.
