• The Partner Payments team innovates across various signup and activation flows that are initiated by a partner and then continued by us on the web and TV. They support the Partner Payments XFN Squad and its annual roadmap. Leveraging partner-owned payment systems, they seek to grow our member base via partner sales channels while optimizing the sign-up flow by minimizing friction. In addition, this team supports members switching into or out of managed MOP plans to partner-managed MOP plans.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development

• Architect, build, and maintain complex, high-quality UI features and frameworks for web, TV, or mobile platforms.
• Drive technical direction and UI best practices across projects and teams.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product designers, and product managers to deliver seamless, performant, and accessible user experiences.

Innovation & Problem Solving

• Identify and solve challenging UI/UX problems at scale.
• Prototype and experiment with new ideas to push the boundaries of what’s possible in entertainment technology.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Mentor and guide other engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting growth.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and cross-functional brainstorming sessions.
• Work directly with users and stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Quality & Performance

• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability through rigorous testing and documentation.
• Optimize UI performance for a wide range of devices and network conditions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience in UI engineering or related fields.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or similar modern UI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Experience with large-scale, consumer-facing applications.
• Proven ability to lead projects and influence technical direction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TV, gaming, or mobile UI development.
• Familiarity with streaming, media, or entertainment platforms.
• Contributions to open-source UI projects or frameworks.
• Skilled in building and integrating GenAI solutions to solve complex real-world problems efficiently.

Pay Rate Range:

• $125-150/hr.
