The International Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing tasks related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, and equipment within a manufacturing setting. This role involves preparing goods for shipment, maintaining records of shipped goods, and ensuring accuracy in documentation such as bills of lading.
Responsibilities
- Verify shipments for accuracy.
- Prepare domestic and international shipping documents.
- Schedule pick-ups with freight companies.
- Package all shipments.
- Support inventory control, material handling, cycle counts, and inventory management.
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Post weight and shipping charges and maintain shipping record files.
Essential Skills
- High school education or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of shipping experience in the high-tech field.
- Experience with international shipping and carnet procedures.
- Proficient in data entry.
- Familiarity with electrostatic sensitive procedures (ESD).
- Proficient in Excel and Adobe for editing and creating custom documents.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of multi-tasking.
- People-oriented and responsible.
- Ability to lift and carry over 20 lbs.
- Proficient in computer usage including typing and keying.

Work Environment
The position is based in a small, clean warehouse environment, requiring long periods of lifting, carrying, standing, pulling, and sitting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $26.00/hr.
