Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

Provide detailed in-process inspections of electrical and mechanical assemblies, using technical drawings, CAD models, and established processes to verify conformance to design requirements. Perform detailed product inspections on finished goods, including but not limited to First Article Inspections and certified supplier document reviews. Document production nonconformance in accordance with provided procedures and processes, verifying compliance to applicable standards. Establish professionalism and timelines in the performance of daily activities. Communicate effectively to personnel any quality issues needing resolutions. Work on multiple assignments concurrently while maintaining flexibility to the production schedule. Monitor the use of calibrated measuring instruments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing and production standards in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience performing detailed product inspections using blueprints/specifications and precision measuring equipment.
  • Associate degree in a technical or engineering field.
  • 3+ years of inspection experience in aerospace, aviation, military, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electrical systems, including testing and inspection using portable measuring devices.
  • Able to work in the US or Permanent Resident Card Holder.

Work in a clean room, climate-controlled environment. Dress code includes full GMP smock, hair net, and shoe covers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Midland, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
