Position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year at a K-12 educational setting in Horton, KS. This contract position runs from August 1, 2025, through May 30, 2026, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grades
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student communication skills
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with program requirements
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or eligibility to work in a school-based setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting children and adolescents
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize responsibilities
Location: Horton, Kansas
