Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Optician at TYLER EYE CARE, P.A. DBA Today's Vision, located in Tyler, TX. The Optician will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting eyewear, providing optical advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include performing adjustments and fittings of eyewear, maintaining knowledge of lens options and technological advancements, and supporting eye exams by handling prescriptions and ensuring proper measurements.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Optics and Optometry to assist in selecting and fitting appropriate eyewear and understanding vision care.
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to ensure positive client experiences and resolve concerns efficiently.
- Experience with Eye Exams and the ability to support optometrists with prescriptions and accurate measurements.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in using optical tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as an Optician is a plus.
