Opportunity Overview
We are partnering with a wellestablished commercial construction company that is seeking a parttime Controller / Financial Consultant to support monthend close activities and assist with a system transition. This role is ideal for a handson construction accounting professional who can quickly step in, work within existing processes, and provide immediate value during a critical period.
Key Responsibilities
- Support general bookkeeping and monthend close activities in the legacy system (Eclipse) to expedite completion of April close
- Assist with PO creation, receiving, and AP matching in Acumatica
- Provide accounts payable support in Acumatica
- Support inventoryrelated accounting in Acumatica
- Assist with cash management and related reporting in Acumatica
- Partner with internal accounting and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition between systems
Ideal Background
- Strong construction accounting experience with handson transactional support
- Familiarity with Acumatica and construction ERP environments strongly preferred
- Detailoriented, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal rampup
- Practical, solutionsfocused professional comfortable in a fastmoving environment
This is a shortterm, parttime engagement (approximately 15–20 hours per week for 4–8 weeks) with flexibility and meaningful impact during an important transition period.
