Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available in a K-12 public school setting located in Nashua, NH. This position is a contract role for the 2025-2026 school year, running from August 25, 2025, through June 19, 2026. Teachers will serve varying caseloads supporting students with diverse special education needs, including intensive classrooms focused on developmental delays and other severe disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to students with special education needs across K-12 grade levels.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with students developmental and academic goals.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, counselors, and general education staff.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal regulations related to special education.

Qualifications:

ACTIVE New Hampshire Special Education teaching license is required.
Certification or experience in intensive needs classrooms or developmental delays preferred.
Candidates with a Statement of Eligibility (SOE) may be considered if the license can be expedited.
Must be able to work onsite full time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
