Long Term Care Pharmacist Compensation

The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with one year of service on our eligibility dates.
Long Term Care Pharmacist Highlights

Shift: 2nd Shift (1 PM – 10 PM)

Location: Onsite in Indianapolis, IN

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs.
Long Term Care Pharmacist Responsibilities

Accept and dispense prescription medications
-
Monitor patient medication compliance and usage patterns
-
Ensure medications are dispensed within legal guidelines
-
Advise patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions

Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files
-
Provide consultations on prescription and non-prescription medications

Educate patients on the use of medical devices (e.g., BP monitors, glucose meters)

Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions

Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks

Maintain appropriate pharmaceutical inventory

Identify and address drug-related issues in collaboration with healthcare providers
Long Term Care Pharmacist Requirements

Active and valid Indiana Pharmacist (RPh) license

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
-
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
