Overview
Shriners Children’s Philadelphia is where hope and healing meet. Our team of highly specialized physicians provides comprehensive care for children with fractures, sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, scoliosis, spinal cord conditions, and spine injuries.
We have an opportunity for a full time Driver to join our team. Hours are generally 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
Transport Patient and Families
•Transports patients in a timely manner to other facilities for testing and appointments.
•Transports are done in a safe manner.
•Patients are retuned without undue delay.
Mechanical Abilities
•Maintains vehicles preventive maintenance logs.
•Keeps vehicles clean and serviced.
Record Keeping
•Ensures vehicles are inspected/serviced on a quarterly basis.
•Maintains vehicles PA State Inspection Certificates.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Pennsylvania state drivers license required
- CPR certification required
- Knowledge of Philadelphia and surrounding areas required
- must conform to the Shriners Driver Qualification Policy
- High School diploma/GED preferred
