Carpenter/Handyman - Role Description

Currently hiring for a full-time hands-on Carpenter/Handyman. The perfect person for this job has a great work ethic, is willing to learn, and dependable.

Ideal candidates have some existing construction knowledge but are open to learning from and supporting an experienced team with unlimited opportunity for growth. This position will provide primary support to our field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, strong communication, and use critical thinking to be solution oriented. Must have the ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities at one time while remaining flexible, and work within a fast-paced environment. Work will often be outside, and punctuality and promptness are required every day. Compensation based on experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Material verification/coordination
• In-House installation & Punch list
• Quality/cleanliness ownership
• Supporting Field & Office Project Team

Qualifications

• Provide own transportation – Reliable and suitable for transporting materials/tools
• Provide basic carpentry tools
• Problem-solving – Know when to escalate decisions and/or utilize team for support
• Excellent communication skills – Verbal and Text
• Ability to manage material deliveries and inventories
• Working knowledge of various construction disciplines & materials
• Ability to rotate from multiple tasks/day based on schedule and priorities
• Thrive in a small high-functioning team and family-oriented environment
