About The Opportunity

\n

I'm partnering with a leading healthcare services organization on a new Senior Director of Accounting hire. This person will play a key leadership role overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, process improvement initiatives, and team leadership across a complex and growing environment.

\n

\n

What You'll Lead

\n

\n
• Direct accounting operations, including financial close, general ledger oversight, and financial reporting.

\n

• Partner with finance and operational leaders to enhance reporting accuracy and support strategic decision-making.

\n

• Oversee reconciliations, journal entry reviews, and the integrity of financial data.

\n

• Drive process improvement, automation, and efficiency initiatives across the accounting function.

\n

• Support audit activities and maintain strong internal control and compliance practices.

\n

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team focused on operational excellence.

\n

\n

\n

What They’re Looking For

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

\n

• 10+ years of progressive relevant experience leading accounting and financial reporting functions within large or complex organizations (healthcare related, required)

\n

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, corporate accounting principles, and internal controls.

\n

• Proven leadership experience managing teams and partnering with senior stakeholders.

\n

• Track record of improving accounting processes, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.

\n

• Oracle ERP system experience (Oracle Fusion, a plus) but Oracle in general ideal

\n

• Healthcare industry experience (services, provider, managed care, value based)

\n

\n

Additional Skills/Experience Preferred

\n

\n
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation

\n

• Prior experience with a top 10 level accounting firm

\n

\n

\n
