Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to support one of our clients' finance teams in Buckhead Atlanta. This role is perfect for someone with a solid understanding of general accounting and a strong commitment to accuracy and organization. You'll be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing daily transactions, and assisting with reporting and reconciliation activities that keep the department running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
  • Maintain and update accounting records, files, and documentation
  • Perform data entry and verify accuracy of financial information
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
  • Assist with accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions
  • Prepare basic financial reports, summaries, and supporting documents
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and standard accounting practices

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent general accounting experience, including A/P and A/R
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and similar functions)
  • Experience with SAP, NetSuite, or Great Plains is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred

Pay Details: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour
