Job DescriptionSalary: Compensation based on experience

Scott Electric Company has an opening in our Greensburg, PA, branch for a Full Time Business Process Conversion Coordinator-ERP Implementation position. This position will report directly to the ERP Project Manager.

Job Summary:

The Business Process Conversion Coordinatorplays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition from legacy business processes to optimized workflows within the newInfor CloudSuite Distribution ERP system.This individual collaborates withfunctional leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and IT teamsto analyze, document, and convert existing business processes to align with best practices and system capabilities.

The ideal candidate has experience inprocess mapping, gap analysis, ERP workflow design, and stakeholder engagementto ensure minimal disruption during the transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Process Mapping & Conversion (40-45%)

  • Analyze current-state business processes across finance, sales, inventory, procurement, and operations.
  • Identify gaps between legacy processes and Infor CloudSuite Distribution best practices.
  • Work with functional SMEs to document future-state processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and business objectives.
  • Align new business processes with system configurations, automation, and reporting capabilities.

Create detailed documentation on data migration processes, system configurations, and user guides.

Provide regular status reports on the implementation progress, data conversion status, and issues.


Data & Process Validation (10-15%)

  • Collaborate withData Migration Specialiststo ensure process data is clean, structured, and mapped correctly.
  • Validate that converted business rules, workflows, and master data (items, customers, vendors, etc.) are correctly implemented.
  • Support business teams in validating and testing converted processes in a conference room pilot (CRP) and user acceptance testing (UAT).


Stakeholder Collaboration (10-15%)

  • Act as a bridge between business teams and the ERP implementation team to ensure clear communication.
  • Work withChange Management Leadto develop training materials and user guides for new business processes.
  • Facilitate process adoption by providing demonstrations, process training, and ongoing support for end users.

Testing & Quality Assurance (15-20%)

  • Develop and execute test scripts to validate process conversions.
  • Support UAT teams by troubleshooting workflow issues and capturing feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with business requirements through rigorous testing and documentation.

Continuous Improvement & Post-Go-Live Support (5%)

  • Assist in refining and optimizing processes after ERP goes live.
  • Provide feedback to IT and process owners on enhancements or additional automation needs.
  • Monitor system usage and process adherence to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

  • Strong understanding ofdistribution industry processes, particularly in finance, inventory, sales, and purchasing.
  • Hands-on experience withbusiness process modeling tools(e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN).
  • Familiarity withERP systems (preferably Infor CloudSuite Distribution)and their process workflows.
  • Strongproblem-solving and analytical skillswith the ability to translate business needs into system functionality.

Preferred:

  • Experience withInfor CloudSuite Distribution ERP.
  • Knowledge ofLean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Exposure toSQL, data mapping, or reporting toolsfor process validation.
  • ERPUAT or system integration testingexperience.
  • Bachelors degreein Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field

Success Metrics:

  • Accuracy: Business processes were successfully converted with minimal errors.
  • Efficiency:Reduction in manual work and streamlined workflows in ERP.
  • User Adoption:High engagement and low resistance to new processes.
  • System Performance:ERP workflows operating as designed post-go-live.
