Summary
The CL-604 Captain will perform duties as Pilot-In Command and is responsible for safe and legal aircraft operation in accordance with FAA regulations and the DST Flight Operations Manual (FOM). Duties include, but are not limited to, flight planning, ATC coordination of special activities, and post flight tasks. The CL-604 Captain will communicate with customers to ensure a clear understanding of both flight and schedule objectives, with safety being the first priority. The CL-604 Captain will utilize effective Crew Resource Management techniques and procedures and will ensure that all flight participants on safety and egress procedures prior to flight. The CL-604 Captain will report any mechanical issues or concerns to an appropriate Maintenance Department member and the Chief Pilot. The CL-604 Captain completes all necessary aircraft administration documents for aircraft time tracking and manifest.

- Post-flight inspection.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position including some unusual hours. The length of a work day varies depending on the customer requirements. Days and hours of work are typically 14-day on/ 14-day off rotation. Working hours can vary depending on the position and role, with some work days requiring longer hours, including those who may work 12-14 hours a day. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties and customers demand.
Travel
Travel will be required as requested by customers. Traveling includes overnight stays outside of the normal working location. CONUS and OCONUS travel is required. As requested by the customer, OCONUS travel will be for extended durations.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CommercialAMEL with Instrument rating.
- Minimum TT of 2,000 hours.
Preferred Education and Experience
- CL-604 Type Rating.
- Bachelors Degree.
- 5,000 TT hours desired.
- 2,000 Turbojet hours desired
- 500 hours in CL-604.
Other Hiring Requirements
- Current Passport with unrestricted international travel privileges.
- Current FAA First or Second Class Medical.
- Valid Drivers License.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a DOD Top Secret Level Clearance.
- Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.
