Specialist, Digital Content & Growth

Chick-fil-A Nanuet · Nanuet, NY · Full-Time · Reports to Manager of Marketing & Community Growth

Employment: Full-time

Location: Nanuet, NY — on-site at restaurant

Base salary: $42,000–$50,000 per year, based on experience

Equipment stipend: $100/month toward personal gear maintenance

Total compensation: ~$43,200–$51,500 per year

Who We Are

Chick-fil-A’s corporate purpose is to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us, and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A. The vision is to be the world’s most caring company, changing the world through moments of care.

At the restaurant level, that shows up as two things we refuse to choose between: real care and elite execution. We strive to be a high-performing restaurant that gives people an experience they can’t get anywhere else.

Your role is to make people feel that.

The Opportunity

This is a maker’s role with real ownership, not a coordinator seat where you manage someone else’s calendar. You’ll produce, schedule, and publish all digital content for one of the most recognized restaurant brands in the country, and own the channels that turn that content into business results: social, the mobile app, local search, and employer platforms.

You’ll work alongside a Director who sets the strategy and owns community and field activation. Your job is to make that strategy show up online (consistently, on brand, and on time) and to make Chick-fil-A Nanuet feel like a place people genuinely want to be. You’ll also own training videos, internal communications, employer branding, and LinkedIn content for leadership.

For someone early in their career, the scope here is rare: a portfolio built on a nationally loved brand, multiple channels under your ownership, and direct access to leadership. If you perform, you grow.

The Content We’re Building

The style is lifestyle-first UGC: real people, real moments, our products living naturally in the environment, never staged. Corporate handles the polished brand creative. You handle the content that makes this location feel real, local, and worth following.

Everything we make runs on one formula: find the real person and let them tell the story.

Our raw material:

• Our People: Team Members, guests, our Operator, our Leaders

• Our Food

• Our Cows

• Our Influence: our care, our impact in the community, our purpose, people’s stories

Even the Food and the Cows are told through people: a face, a reaction, a moment. Think hands holding a sandwich at a park, nuggets at a school event, a shake in the car. No staged flat-lays, no floating product B-roll. And when conditions aren’t perfect (grey skies, a packed dining room, harsh light), you lean into them instead of fighting them. The best moments usually come from what’s actually happening, not the shot list.

Two registers live inside that. There are the quiet moments of care (a remembered order, a scholarship, a kindness at the window), and there’s the kinetic excellence of a restaurant operating at an elite level: a peak-hour rush that somehow still feels warm. The best content moves between both and makes each feel cinematic and true. Your work makes people feel the one thing they can’t get anywhere else: care, performed at this level.

Short-form vertical video is the backbone, but the style is yours to own. We’re not handing you a format template. The specific formats, hooks, lengths, and creative approaches that reach our audiences and demographics are yours to figure out, test, and keep refining. We hire you to find what works, then make it work better.

What You Own:

Content Production

  • 20 to 30 short-form assets per month across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook: UGC-style, lifestyle-driven, and community-native
  • Products captured in real, lived-in environments, not staged or studio
  • Filming in and around the restaurant: team moments, guest interactions, behind-the-scenes, community activations, and event coverage
  • Short-form training videos for team-member onboarding and operational topics
  • Internal communications: announcements, team updates, milestone recognition
  • Employer branding: team-member headshots, recognition graphics, culture content
  • LinkedIn content for managers and leadership to publish under their own profiles
  • Team-member storytelling: scholarships, promotions, career milestones
  • Event and activation recaps in coordination with the Director

Channel Management

  • Build and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned to approved sales priorities and promotional windows
  • Schedule and publish all approved content via Buffer or designated publishing platform
  • Own the mobile app channel — build campaigns, track engagement, and optimize performance over time
  • Manage light paid boost strategy and track ROAS across social platforms
  • Maintain local search and discovery hygiene: Google Business Profile, maps, and directories
  • Monitor review platforms and support the Director’s response strategy
  • Manage employer review platform presence on Glassdoor and Indeed

Reporting & Planning

  • Produce a monthly KPI report covering engagement, follower growth, app performance, paid ROAS, catering inquiry volume, and review ratings
  • Participate in monthly growth planning sessions with leadership
  • Track content performance and bring data-informed recommendations to the team

What We’ll Teach vs. What You Bring

The creative eye is the part we can’t teach, so that’s the part we hire for. The growth and channel side we can build with the right person.

  • You bring (non-negotiable): the storytelling instinct and taste: an eye for the real moment, strong short-form shooting and editing, platform-native fluency, the judgment to make imperfect conditions work, and a relentless drive to test, learn, and find the style that lands with our audience.
  • We’ll teach and grow with you: the app channel, paid boosts and ROAS, Google Business Profile and local SEO, KPI reporting, and our planning workflow. Bring aptitude and curiosity here; you don’t need to have mastered all of it.

If you’re a strong maker who’s newer to the analytics side, apply anyway. We’d rather coach a great storyteller on reporting than the reverse.

Equipment

We use a hybrid approach: you own your primary production gear, and the restaurant maintains a small shared kit on-site. A monthly stipend is included to offset wear and maintenance on your personal equipment.

What you must own:

  • Professional-grade camera capable of 4K short-form video in real-world environments (mirrorless or equivalent) preferred
  • External microphone suitable for on-site capture in a restaurant environment
  • Editing software and a computer capable of video editing

How You’ll Be Measured

You are not measured on posts published. You are measured on whether those posts move the business.

  • Follower growth across all platforms
  • Engagement rate per post
  • App awareness and campaign performance
  • Paid ad ROAS
  • Content calendar adherence and quality
  • Catering inquiry volume (digital attribution)
  • Review ratings and response cadence
  • Daypart promotion engagement

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a remote role — on-site presence is required to capture content, attend activations, and stay connected to the brand
  • Not a strategy role — strategy is set by the leadership; your job is excellent execution
  • Not a passive publisher — you are expected to bring creative ideas, flag performance issues, and improve over time
  • Not a role for someone who needs constant direction — you manage your calendar, hit your deadlines, and own your output

What We’re Looking For

  • A reel that makes us feel something: real people, real moments, a clear point of view (this matters more than polish)
  • A test-and-learn instinct: you treat content style and format as something to figure out and keep improving, not a template to follow. You watch what performs, form a view about why, and evolve toward effectiveness
  • Range across registers: you can shoot a quiet, emotional moment of care and the high-energy spectacle of a peak-hour rush, and make both feel cinematic and true
  • Strong short-form skills: you can shoot and edit something that stops the scroll in the first two seconds
  • Fluent in UGC and lifestyle content: authentic, unpolished-on-purpose, and community-native. You know the difference between a brand shoot and a real moment, and you can create the latter
  • Able to capture products in natural, lived-in environments, not staged, not studio
  • Brand-aligned caption writing with platform-native tone across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Experience managing social publishing for a brand or organization
  • Comfort with scheduling tools such as Meta for business
  • Comfort using AI writing tools to speed up copy without sacrificing quality
  • Experience building and managing content calendars aligned to business priorities
  • Organized asset management: clean shared drives, labeled files, version control
  • Proactive communicator: 48-hour turnaround or less, no chasing required
  • Owns professional-grade camera and audio suitable for 4K short-form video in real-world environments
  • Comfortable being on-site daily, in our Chick-fil-A uniform, representing the brand in person

Nice to Have

  • Mobile app campaign management or loyalty-program marketing
  • Comfortable shooting in fast-moving, uncontrolled settings: events, activations, busy restaurant moments
  • Current on short-form trends on TikTok and Instagram
  • Restaurant, hospitality, or QSR marketing experience
  • Google Business Profile and local SEO basics
  • Employer branding or internal communications experience

Why This Role

Most content jobs hand you a product to promote. This one hands you a purpose to capture. Chick-fil-A’s vision is to be the world’s most caring company, changing the world through moments of care, and this restaurant chases that at an elite operational level, set on giving people an experience they can’t get anywhere else. Your work is how that shows up to the world.

You’d also get range most early-career creators never touch: tender human storytelling and high-energy operational spectacle, on a brand people in this market genuinely love, with the latitude to own the style and the channels to see whether it’s landing. Corporate handles the polished brand creative; you handle the content that makes this location feel real, local, and worth following.

The work will be visible, measurable, and yours to claim, and on a small, high-performing team, the right person will have real room to grow.
