Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive with experience in light and heavy industrial staffing sales. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and delivering customized staffing solutions to industrial clients in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, construction, and related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target new business opportunities in the light and heavy industrial sectors.
- Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling, networking, in-person visits, and digital outreach.
- Understand client needs and operational challenges to propose tailored temporary staffing solutions.
- Conduct site visits to assess job requirements and ensure appropriate worker placement and safety compliance.
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing models, and service agreements to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of workforce solutions.
- Maintain CRM records of all sales activity, leads, contacts, and client interactions.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience in the temporary staffing industry, specifically within light and heavy industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong knowledge of industrial staffing dynamics, OSHA/safety compliance, and labor requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
Preferred Skills
- Existing network of industrial clients is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
