The Director of Owner Relations & Management is the senior executive responsible for growing Pinnacle Aviations aircraft owner base, building strategic partnerships, and leading the owner relations team. This role oversees the full owner lifecycle from sourcing and onboarding new aircraft to ensuring the long-term satisfaction and retention of existing owners. Leads by operating at the highest levels: managing key owner relationships strategically, developing business, and directing the Owner Relations Coordinator who handles day-to-day owner operations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Owner Relationship Management Strategic Level

  • Serve as the senior relationship executive for Pinnacle Aviations most important and complex owner relationships
  • Conduct high-level owner meetings, strategic reviews, and aircraft utilization consultations
  • Engage owners on fleet expansion opportunities, aircraft upgrades, and long-term ownership strategy
  • Oversee owner experience standards and ensure coordinator delivers consistent, high-quality day-to-day service
  • Step in personally for critical owner concerns, escalations, or high-stakes relationship moments
  • Oversee the coordination of owner travel with the Trip Support Specialist, ensuring seamless execution across all managed aircraft

Team Leadership

  • Directly manage and mentor Owner Relations Coordinator in day-to-day owner operations
  • Set standards for owner communication, experience quality, and JetInsight data accuracy
  • Review Owner Relations monthly operations reports and provide coaching and direction
  • Build scalable systems and processes for the owner relations team as Pinnacles fleet grows
  • Foster a team culture of proactivity, personal touch, and owner-first thinking

Fleet Growth & Aircraft Acquisition

  • Lead all initiatives to grow the number of aircraft under Pinnacle management
  • Source and introduce acquisition opportunities to prospective and existing owners
  • Build relationships with brokers, family offices, corporate flight departments, and aviation advisors
  • Focus initially on light jet category with a clear pathway into midsize and super-midsize
  • Guide prospective owners through the full aircraft purchase and onboarding process
  • Collaborate with Owner Relations to ensure a seamless handover from acquisition to ongoing owner care

Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop referral relationships with wealth managers, attorneys, tax advisors, and aviation brokers
  • Represent Pinnacle at aviation events, conferences, and high-level networking opportunities
  • Create partnerships that expand Pinnacles owner network and national market presence
  • Support expansion into new regions and international markets, leveraging existing UHNW and Asia-Pacific networks

Base Salary

$90,000 / year

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven track record managing ultra-high-net-worth client relationships at a senior level
  • Demonstrated revenue growth in aviation, financial services, or a related field
  • Existing network among family offices, wealth managers, or corporate aviation advisors
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and executive presence
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team in a client-facing environment
  • Experience representing organizations at the government or C-suite level preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
