The Center • A Place of HOPE is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, prescribe and manage medications, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered mental health care. This role is essential in supporting the emotional, psychological, and physical well-being of our clients in a holistic, integrative care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for new and existing clients.

Diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.

Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychotropic medications while ensuring safe and effective care.

Provide ongoing medication management and patient follow-up.

Collaborate closely with therapists, physicians, nutritionists, and other clinical staff to support whole-person care.

Maintain accurate, compliant clinical records and documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning meetings.

Educate clients and families on treatment options, medication adherence, and mental health wellness.

Respond to psychiatric crises and support clients with appropriate interventions.

Stay current on best practices, research developments, and emerging trends in mental health and psychiatric care.

Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Current and valid Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license (ARNP/PMHNP) in the state of practice.

Board certification in psychiatric/mental health nursing (preferred).
