Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $50 – $52 per hour (Local Rate)
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Dietitian for an exciting job in Bronx, NY.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct timely and accurate nutrition screenings and assessments based on level of care

Evaluate nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition care plans

Provide ongoing nutrition follow-up and reassessment as clinically indicated

Monitor and educate patients on food and medication interactions; document appropriately

Collaborate with physicians and care teams regarding diet modifications and nutrition interventions

Obtain dietary histories, preferences, and habits through patient and/or family interviews
-
Interpret laboratory values, physical findings, and social factors relevant to nutrition care

Deliver nutrition education and document patient understanding of prescribed diets

Modify patient menus in accordance with clinical needs and dietary orders

Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant nutrition-related documentation
Required Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition from an accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications

Two (2) or more years of professional experience

Master’s degree in a related field
Required Certifications & Licensure
-
Post-Acute Care: New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED)

Acute Care: Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian (Primary Source Verification required)
Preferred Certifications
-
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
