Join a dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality parts for distribution centers. As a Shift Production Technician, you will be responsible for performing repair welds on parts that robotic welders may have missed, maintaining production numbers, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair welding on parts missed by robotic welders.
- Set up jigs and fixtures by making necessary adjustments.
- Operate equipment efficiently to meet production standards.
- Use measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain required records and keep a clean work area.
- Follow verbal and written instructions for operating dies and equipment.
- Perform fixture set-ups, buffing, spot welding, and operating special welding fixtures.
- Engage in MIG welding, load jigs, packing, deburring, sorting, and reworking parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in welding, specifically MIG welding.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in a welding capacity, ideally in farming or manufacturing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with machine loading is a plus.
- Ability to maintain good attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment
Work in a non-temperature controlled manufacturing environment, which is hot in the summer and cool in the winter. The position is for the 1st shift, running from 6am to 4:30pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelbyville, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $25.00/hr.
