Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift
Pay: $25.00/hour
Job Overview
The Instrument Test Technician I is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting moderately complex instruments to ensure performance meets defined pass/fail criteria. This role supports production, quality, and engineering teams while maintaining strict safety, GMP, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, integrate, and test instruments within the production environment
- Perform functional and release testing on assigned instruments
- Analyze test data to determine pass/fail results and recommend corrective actions
- Troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, or system-related issues
- Identify defects and escalate quality or performance concerns
- Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards
- Support process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Train and support associates on testing and assembly procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with GMP, safety, and quality policies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to test and support moderately complex instruments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience reading technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with mechanical tools (torque drivers, gauges, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows environments
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED with 3.5+ years of manufacturing experience
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/production setting
- Must be able to perform standard material handling tasks
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
