JOB SUMMARY:
In this role, you’ll support the VP of Finance and collaborate closely with Sales and Operations to drive revenue growth and margin optimization. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial and commercial data, developing and managing budgets and forecasts, and delivering actionable reporting to inform strategic decisions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions, including process discovery, business case creation, and reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, annual plans and forecasts, and other management and/or statutory reporting, including analyzing results of operations and communicating written analysis
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners, offering support, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and addressing business needs.
- Develop, maintain, and disseminate financial report packages to business leaders, and analyze financial reports to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure high-quality budgets and accurate financial predictions.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing explanations and recommendations to address budget variances and support business growth.
- Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities for process enhancements in financial systems and reporting.
- Support the enhancement of internal financial systems (ERP and BI tools) to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Create clear, well-defined presentations of financial analysis for stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights for non-financial audiences.
- Collaborate with sales & Operational teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Participate in the year-end audit process
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, accounting or similar.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in finance analytics.
- Experience in international companies or within a group of companies helpful.
- Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Affinity for structured work and processes, as well as analytical approach.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel as well as standard accounting and ERP software solutions. MS Business Central knowledge and Power BI a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work with all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter and able to work in ambiguous situations.
