Position Summary:

As a Licensed Property and Casualty Independent Insurance Agent, you’ll own the opportunity to drive new business and dominate client relationships within the trucking and transportation industry. This is a high-impact, commission-eligible role where you’ll identify prospects, close deals, and deliver tailored insurance solutions that meet real client needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with trucking and transportation clients.
  • Identify client insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Generate new business through outbound sales efforts, referrals, and inbound leads. 
  • Leverage company technology, CRM, and support systems to manage leads and client accounts.
  • Educate clients on policy coverage, exclusions, and risk management strategies. 
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and coverage requirements affecting trucking businesses. 
  • Collaborate with underwriting, customer service, and claims teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and servicing . 
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance metrics. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities and client communications.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the policy lifecycle, including renewals and coverage updates.

Qualifications:


Required:  

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License, Florida 2-20 License or other state applicable Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Willingness to expand current skill set in insurance sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities 
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team 

Preferred: 

  • Experience working with trucking, transportation, or logistics clients 
  • Familiarity with agency management systems or CRM platforms Key Competencies
