The ideal candidate will bring expertise in corporate tax, general ledger management, and journal entries.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision and attention to detail.
• Record, adjust, and maintain journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor and calculate sales tax obligations, including filing and remittance.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements in accounting workflows.
• Conduct periodic audits of financial records to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond to inquiries regarding accounting discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.• Proficiency in corporate tax preparation and understanding of relevant regulations.
• Hands-on experience with sales tax calculations and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools for efficient record-keeping.
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate accurate reports.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in handling financial transactions.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration and addressing financial inquiries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
