Altruix is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our Washington, DC pharmacy, with regular travel throughout the DC area to administer long-acting injectable medications in clinic and home settings.
This role is focused on the safe, independent administration of long-acting injectable medications, patient monitoring, and care coordination. The ideal candidate is confident in their clinical skills, comfortable working autonomously in the field, and experienced in administering injections in non-hospital settings.
Candidates must be actively licensed as an LPN and hold a current, valid certification/authorization to administer injectable medications (separate from LPN licensure). Candidates must be licensed in either Maryland or the District of Columbia at time of hire and actively working toward licensure in the additional jurisdiction. Full licensure in both MD and DC is required as soon as possible, as this role supports patients across both areas.Licensure reimbursement will be provided to support expedited completion.
This role requires consistent travel between locations throughout the DC area. Candidates must be local, as no relocation assistance is provided.
Compensation for this role ranges from $65,000 $70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current certification/authorization to administer injectable medications (required)
- Licensed in MD or DC at time of hire
- Must obtain licensure in the second jurisdiction immediately upon hire
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

- Experience administering long-acting injectable medications, particularly in behavioral health or community-based settings
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- Highly organized with strong documentation and time management skills
- Experience working in home health, clinics, or mobile care environments
