Grant Analyst
Full-Time (40 Hours/Week), Exempt
The Gospel Center Rescue Mission is seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Grant Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the grant application process, ensuring compliance, and overseeing the tracking and reporting of funded projects. This position is ideal for individuals with strong analytical abilities, a passion for nonprofit work, and hands-on experience in grant management.
Additionally, the Grant Analyst will lead and oversee the fundraising programs for the Gospel Center Rescue Mission, including all activities related to private and corporate foundations, government grants, direct mail programs, church and corporate relations, and major gifts cultivation and solicitation.
The Grant Analyst reports to the CEO and collaborates closely with the CEO, CFO and COO.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Take lead responsibility on grants submission and management, coordinating activities and meeting deadlines for grant proposals and reports.
- Manage a caseload of foundation, corporate and individual prospects and achieves associated revenue goals.
- Identify and cultivate new prospects.
- Collaborate with Finance team to develop strong financial documents including customized grant budgets and adapting existing financial documents as needed.
- Responsible for website and social media to include being the direct liaison with our website, newsletter and social media contractor.
- Conducting annual 2-day Phonation with staff and program students.
Requirements:
- Embrace the organization’s Statement of Faith.
- Past Development experience.
- Undergraduate degree.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to relay complex information with precision, clarity, and attention to detail.
- Proven experience in project management and the ability to meet a variety of deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office software as well as experience with one donor management software system.
- High integrity that builds trust with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Past Development experience supervising one or more staff.
- CFRE.
- Experience in cultivating and stewarding foundation relationships.
- Experience with Foundation Directory Online (FDO) and/or other prospect research tools.
- Experience with Government grants.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
