Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a K-12 educational setting focused on students with moderate to severe disabilities. This contract role supports a caseload of approximately 30 students, in collaboration with another speech-language pathologist. Services will be delivered primarily in-person with opportunities for teletherapy as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy targeting munication skills, articulation, language development, and swallowing, tailored to pediatric needs
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate speech goals into individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly
- Utilize teletherapy platforms to deliver services as appropriate
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical petence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Background serving school-aged populations, specifically K-12

- Ability to manage a caseload involving moderate to severe disabilities
Location and Schedule:
- Worksite: Cedar Chapel Special School, Berlin, MD
- Contract duration: Academic school year
- Start date: Services begin August 27 and 28; official contract start September 2
- Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
