Role Overview
The Insurance Sales Director is responsible for leading the sales team, setting ambitious goals, and developing strategies to drive growth across all insurance product lines. This leadership role involves working closely with senior management to ensure effective sales implementation while maintaining high team performance and a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, focusing on both individual and team performance.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales consultants to optimize performance and foster career development.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with VIP clients and industry stakeholders to enhance market position.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor team performance via Salesforce and provide regular updates and strategic adjustments to senior management.
- Talent Development: Assist in recruiting new talent and providing continuous education on products and sales techniques.
- Compliance & Integrity: Ensure all activities meet industry regulations and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years in insurance sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Licensing: Current and valid insurance licenses as required by state and federal regulations.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM), sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of insurance products, market dynamics, and emerging industry trends.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret complex data to make data-driven strategic decisions.
