Position: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Salary: $90K - $130K (DOE)
An established East Bay engineering firm is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with three or more years experience in MEP, HVAC, or Plumbing design in relation to building construction projects. Responsibilities:
- Design plumbing systems and HVAC systems, including package units and central plant systems.
- Produce technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, EnergyPro, and Bluebeam.
- Perform job site observations and assist with the development of technical specifications.
- Communicate conceptual design ideas clearly with clients, project teams, and internal staff.
- Manage and deliver profitable projects with a consistent track record of quality and accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support and mentor junior staff as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical/plumbing design for construction projects.
- Experience with office buildings, retail, high-density housing, commercial, educational, and institutional projects.
- Strong knowledge of current Title 24 standards.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, EnergyPro, and Bluebeam preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
