Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Contract Position: 2025-2026 School Year

Soliant Education is seeking several qualified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters for full-time, onsite positions in the Aurora, CO area. These are contract roles for the uping 2025-2026 school year, serving a range of student needs in elementary, middle, and high school settings.

Positions Available:

• 3 Elementary School Interpreters

• 4 Middle School Interpreters

• 1 High School Interpreter

Student Population:

• General Education and Special Education settings

• Students with mild to severe needs requiring interpreting services

Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time ASL interpretation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in classroom and school environments

• Facilitate munication between students, teachers, and peers

• Adapt interpretation to suit student age, content, and context

• Support student participation and engagement in academic and social activities

• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards as outlined by industry and educational guidelines

• Collaborate with educators and support staff to meet individual student needs

Requirements:

• Current CDE (Colorado Department of Education) Certification required

• EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) Score of 3.5 or higher required

• Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred

pensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Range: $38.50 - $48.50 (based on experience and qualifications)
