Now Hiring: Principal Mechanical Engineer (HVAC / Plumbing / Fire Protection)

$130,000–$180,000/year

We’re looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead building systems design and establish a mechanical team for a growing, healthcare-focused MEP firm. This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced engineer ready to shape teams, mentor talent, and drive technical excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Protection system design
- Build, manage, and mentor a mechanical engineering team
- Oversee construction plans, specifications, and technical deliverables
- Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies
- Support construction administration: site visits, shop drawing reviews, change orders
- Perform on-site construction observation and inspections
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- 8+ years of building systems experience
- Active P.E. license
- Strong Revit experience
- Proven leadership and communication skills
Preferred:
- Healthcare project experience
- AHCA experience
