Job DescriptionManufacturing Engineer
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for a company based in Sulligent, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for recommending new machinery and tooling selections, costing and manufacturing options involving new products and changes in existing methods and standards.
Pay Rate
$80,000-100,000k per year (Based on experience)Schedule and Hours
7:30am-4:15pm (Days vary)
Manufacturing Engineer Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide machinery, tooling, material specifications, manufacturing processes, quality inspection documents and incentive time standards needed to accurately and safely manufacture component parts
• Provide support as needed for Production department on a day-to-day basis• Reduce costs, increase productivity, reduce scrap/re-work, and provide resources to train and problem solve
• Research and develop new manufacturing processes
• Maintain Plant and Department such as but not limited to machinery records, component routings and routing files, tooling library files and quality documents
Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• Must have a focus on machining Strong background with machining of hydraulic cylinders in the material handling business preferred • 7+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience preferred
• Specialized training in fields of time standards, machine tool programming, statistical process control, computer applications, and workplace safety required• Leadership experience preferred
