Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• 3-12 hour shifts per week with potential overtime opportunities
\n• Block scheduling available, cannot guarantee 6 on 8 off rotation
\n• Every other weekend requirement and holidays as needed
\n• No call or standby requirements
\n• No floating requirements
\n• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
\n• Critical care skill set required to manage cardiac dysrhythmias, critical drips, BiPap, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation
\n• Experience with radial ABG draws required
\n• Manage all critical care drips, TPA, sedation, paralytics, and other emergency medications
\n• Care for patients with sepsis, medical and surgical conditions, overdose, trauma, and COPD across all age groups
\n• Work in P4 trauma center with STEMI and stroke receiving capabilities
\n• Dress code requires navy scrubs, solid colors only, no patterns or embroidery, closed-toe shoes required
\n• Use EPIC charting system
\n• BSN not required
\n• Orientation includes general hospital orientation, full nursing orientation, computer training, and two 12-hour precepted shifts

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department serving as a P4 trauma center with STEMI and stroke receiving capabilities. The 28-bed emergency department includes 2 designated trauma/code rooms, 2 psychiatric/seclusion rooms, and treats an average of 70-75 patients daily. The facility features in-house security, 24/7 respiratory therapy availability, dedicated phlebotomy services, and modern imaging capabilities with X-ray and CT located adjacent to the emergency department.
