Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for an elementary school program focused on supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder through a specialized pathways curriculum. This contract position offers a structured weekday schedule designed to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for a diverse caseload.
Location: Marlborough, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM 3:30 PM (including a 30-minute lunch)
Caseload: Elementary students in an ASD pathways program
Prep Time: 40 minutes daily
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) teaching license
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with ASD programs and strategies preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively in a supportive, structured setting
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and well-being
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Utilize best practices in special education and ASD instruction to promote student growth
- Participate in ongoing professional development and program meetings
