Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to oversee our mowing crew. This role involves ensuring high-quality lawn maintenance and coordinating daily operations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a mowing crew in performing lawn care services, including mowing, trimming, edging, and debris cleanup

• Operate and oversee the use of lawn care equipment such as mowers, string trimmers, and blowers

• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, on schedule, and to company quality standards

• Train and mentor crew members on proper mowing techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols

• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and report any mechanical issues to management

• Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members to ensure customer satisfaction

• Maintain accurate records of job completion, hours worked, and equipment usage

• Monitor weather conditions and adjust schedules as needed

• Enforce company policies and ensure a safe work environment

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a related field

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Ability to operate and maintain lawn care equipment safely and efficiently

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (preferred)

• Ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions in the field

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
