Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Logistics Support Specialist in Winston Salem, NC! This is a fully on-site, temp to hire role. in this role you are responsible for coordinating shipments, tracking inventory, processing contracts, and ensuring smooth communication between our U.S. and European teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with Excel, managing multiple tasks, and supporting international logistics operations. We are looking for at least 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain or freight forwarding.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments by truck, ocean, and air freight.
  • Work with freight providers to ensure shipments are delivered on time.
  • Prepare and process customer and supplier contracts.
  • Track inventory and maintain accurate shipment records.
  • Ensure shipping documents and customs paperwork are completed correctly.
  • Communicate with U.S. and European trading teams regarding orders, shipments, and contract status.
  • Monitor shipments and troubleshoot delays when needed.
  • Review freight and warehouse invoices and provide documentation to the accounting team.
  • Use Excel, Word, and Outlook to maintain records, reports, and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain, freight forwarding, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of international trade or shipping is helpful; training will be provided.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
