Job Description Join Us as a GMP Warehouse Forklift Material Handler

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)

  • Identify, transport, pack, remove, and properly dispose of products and materials.
  • Operate forklifts, handcarts, and pallet jacks to pick, replenish, shuttle, and load/unload orders.
  • Maintain inventory levels as directed and ensure products are correctly identified and labeled.
  • Feed production lines with scheduled product per supervisor or line lead direction.
  • Handle shipping and receiving throughout your shift.
  • Count, weigh, and record units and materials moved or handled.
  • Operate all equipment safely and follow established procedures.
  • Support 5S housekeeping: sweep floors, dispose of trash appropriately, and remove stray product from floors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule Options

  • 1st Shift: 6:00AM – 2:30PM (Monday–Friday)
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00PM – 6:00AM with $1.00 shift differential
    • Monday–Friday
    • Sunday–Thursday
  • AM Weekend Crew: 6:00AM – 6:00PM with $1.00 shift differential (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
  • PM Weekend Crew: 6:00PM – 6:00AM with $1.00 shift differential (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated sit-down forklift experience (required for consideration).
  • Knowledge of GMPs or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days; capable of operating stand-up and extended forklifts.
  • Solid math skills and the ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read and write in English preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous material handling experience is a plus (varies by location).

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Manufacturing setting with exposure to varied machinery, noise levels, and temperatures.
  • Highly collaborative team environment requiring respectful, professional communication.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed based on staffing and customer demand, including across shifts.
  • Reach with hands/arms throughout the day; stand up to 80% of scheduled time.
  • Walk, climb, and/or balance throughout the shift.
  • Lift up to 90 lbs assisted and 40 lbs unassisted.
