Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing essential speech-language pathology services across multiple school settings in Estero, FL, this contract position offers an engaging opportunity to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Serving elementary, middle, and high school students, the role focuses on delivering direct speech therapy and conducting evaluations to enhance communication skills and educational success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech-language therapy services to students spanning K-12 grades.
  • Performing thorough speech and language evaluations as required.
  • Collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Managing caseloads across various school sites with attention to student progress.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure.
  • Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to diverse student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to serve multiple locations, potentially combining schedules for full-time equivalency.

This position involves schedules across several locations, including:

  • Palmetto Ridge High School: 3 days per week
  • Pinecrest Elementary (Immokalee): 1 day per week
  • Lake Trafford (Immokalee): 1 day per week
  • Highlands Elementary (Immokalee): 1 to 5 days per week
  • Golden Terrace (Golden Gate City): 2 to 3 days per week
