Position Overview
We are seeking a Traveling Superintendent who will be overseeing the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors, managing resources, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and laborers to optimize workflow and productivity.
  • Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage project budgets and resources, including materials and equipment, to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to provide updates and address any issues that arise.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
  • Implement best practices in construction management and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, with a strong focus on industrial projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
