Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Are you a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with your CCC, looking for a unique and flexible opportunity? This contract position offers a rewarding way to make a positive impact with a minimal time commitment near Delaware, OH. Serve a single school as part of the extended school year (ESY) program, supporting one student who requires a targeted 25-minute session per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure for Ohio, or eligibility to obtain before the start date
- Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills with a student-centered, compassionate approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct one 25-minute direct therapy session per week with the assigned student
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement individualized student goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal standards
- Provide expert recommendations and family support as needed
- Commit to the ESY schedule: June 8 – 26 and July 13 – 31
