Empowering Families. Building Financial Futures. CMCA is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and resourceful Financial Opportunity Center® (FOC) Coach to help individuals and families strengthen their financial well-being and achieve lasting stability.
As an FOC Coach, you'll work directly with CMCA members to provide one-on-one financial counseling, goal setting, and group workshops on topics like budgeting, credit building, and savings. You'll guide participants in understanding their finances, connect them with resources, and support them as they take concrete steps toward self-sufficiency.
What You'll Do
- Conduct one-on-one financial coaching sessions and group workshops.
- Help members assess financial health, create budgets, and set achievable goals.
- Review credit reports, support credit-building strategies, and track progress.
- Collaborate with Family Success Coaches and community partners to connect members with resources.
- Accurately document services, outcomes, and progress using CMCA's data systems.
- Promote financial empowerment through outreach and participation in community events.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and maintain trust with diverse individuals.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and effective time management.
Qualifications
- Prefer Associate or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Prefer at least one year of experience in personal finance, banking, lending, or financial coaching.
- Family Development Credential (or willingness to obtain within 24 months).
- Availability for occasional evening or weekend workshops.
