Salary: $23.56 - $29.45

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education and experience as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

At Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH), we’re transforming lives by delivering evidence-based, community-centered care. As part of our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, you'll be at the forefront of recovery-focused, integrated mental health services for adults with serious mental illness. This is more than a case management role; it’s an opportunity to drive real outcomes for some of our community’s most vulnerable individuals.

What You’ll Do:
• Coordinate and connect: Secure housing, medical care, employment resources, benefits, and transportation for clients; removing barriers to independence
• Coach for daily living: Deliver hands-on skills training in budgeting, hygiene, socialization, medication management, and more to foster self-sufficiency
• Engage and empower: Promote dignity, hope, and inclusion while helping clients integrate into their communities and natural support systems
• Respond and support: Navigate crises with calm, care, and professionalism using de-escalation techniques and safety planning
• Collaborate and communicate: Participate in daily team huddles, partner with families and providers, and document all client services accurately and on time

• Excel at building trust and showing up consistently for individuals facing complex mental health challenges
• Are comfortable working in the field; visiting homes, clinics, and community sites
• Have strong organizational and time management skills, and can manage shifting priorities with grace
• Embrace recovery principles and understand the importance of person-centered planning
• Communicate clearly and professionally; both in writing and in person

Qualifications
• Required: Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field or a combination of 3 or more years of relevant education, training, or experience
• Must meet QMHA certification standards per MHACBO (or ability to become certified)
• Valid Oregon driver’s license and insurable driving record required
• Ability to use electronic medical records and documentation software (e.g., Credible)

Schedule and Coverage
This position includes some on-call and after-hours support on a rotating basis to ensure 24/7 client care coverage. Three- Four days once a month after hours.
