Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is based in Hartford, CT, serving K-12 students across elementary and middle school settings. The position spans the full semester, from the start date ASAP through June 9, 2026, with an expected workload of 35 hours per week distributed across 2-3 school buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language support to students within elementary and middle school caseloads
  • Collaborate with certified speech-language pathologists and educational staff to implement individualized intervention plans
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation aligned with school and district guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student assessments as needed
  • Comply with district policies and uphold confidentiality standards

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in Connecticut is required
  • Prior school-based experience is essential, preferably within K-12 settings
  • Successful completion of district fingerprinting and background checks
  • Credentialed candidates will receive priority consideration
  • Ability to participate in Zoom interviews for remote screening
